Profile
Hi there— I’m Bee, a non-binary, queer artist based in the Twin Cities. I have been exploring my artistic abilities since I was able to hold a crayon. My self-taught journey has led me to eclectic collage style artworks made with salvaged materials. I combine methods in painting and sculpture to reuse items that are usually thrown away. I'm very passionate about reducing waste by finding a second life for objects that would typically be considered trash.
I have a formal education in psychology, but have been exploring my artistic abilties since I was about 3 years old! I incorporate themes of mental health, identity, sex positivity, and sustainability in my work. Creating art has helped me through mental health struggles, big life changes, and is one of my favorite ways to express myself.
Please feel free to explore my work or get in touch!
